		<description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;Re: Some Ideas&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I remember you&#039;d posted before about pursuing your music! Very cool.  :)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2008 was my fourth year trying nanowrimo and my first year actually finishing. :) I&#039;m still editing/revising the novel. I have other things I want to start writing (and finish writing - lol), but I&#039;m trying to be good &amp; get the novel in an acceptable form first; it needs some work still. ;)&lt;/p&gt;]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;Re: Some Ideas&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Hey, thanks for all the ideas!  I will definitely explore those soon.  Right now I&#039;ve got myself committed to recording an album by July 4th.  So far so good, though it&#039;ll be a photo finish :)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How often have you done that novel-in-november thing? Ever completed it?&lt;/p&gt;]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;Some Ideas&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Okay, following are some examples/ideas of possible places to try. (some are pay, some are not)&lt;br /&gt;
Something to keep in mind as you research.  If a market says &quot;no unsolicited manuscript,&quot; you can still submit to them.  Just send a query letter first.  They&#039;ll either request to read your manuscript (making it &quot;solicited&quot; vs. &quot;unsolicited&quot;) or not.  ;)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Some of these accept reprints (previously published work).  Others don&#039;t.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Summerset Review: http://www.summersetreview.org/guidelines.htm&lt;br /&gt;
The New Yorker: http://www.newyorker.com/contact/contactus (no reprints - but I suppose you could query to see if they consider it as already published)&lt;br /&gt;
Zoetrope All-Story: http://www.all-story.com/submissions.cgi (no reprints?)&lt;br /&gt;
Chattahoochee Review: http://www.chattahoochee-review.org/ (again, no reprints)&lt;br /&gt;
Zahir: http://www.zahirtales.com/guidelines.html&lt;br /&gt;
Boston Review: http://bostonreview.net/about/writers_guidelines/ (no reprints)&lt;br /&gt;
Adirondack Review: http://adirondackreview.homestead.com/submissions.html (no reprints)&lt;br /&gt;
Not One of Us: http://not-one-of-us.com/guidelines.php (no reprints?)&lt;br /&gt;
GUD: http://www.gudmagazine.com/subs/submit.php&lt;/p&gt;]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;I suggest researching a few markets/mags/sites to see what might be a good fit, then follow the submission guidelines &amp; hope the zine agrees your story is a good fit.  Repeat.  ;)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Some good listings are here:&lt;br /&gt;
http://www.absolutewrite.com&lt;br /&gt;
http://www.writersdigest.com&lt;br /&gt;
http://ralan.com&lt;br /&gt;
etc.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A lot of the online markets tend to cease publication, but the site will linger so it&#039;s always best to check the dates.  Make sure the place you&#039;re interested in is currently publishing and that you&#039;re okay with the rights you&#039;re assigning them if they accept your story.  Also, some print publications will purchase stories that have appeared online and vice versa.  Others won&#039;t.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&#039;ll look up a few places as suggestions to get you started. No harm in trying, right? :)&lt;/p&gt;]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;Hey D... yeah, I sort of considered doing that, but then dropped the ball. Largely because I don&#039;t know where to start in that direction and I&#039;m not sure what the barriers to entry are, or how likely it would be published. I know you&#039;re a bit more a regular writer than I. What do you suggest (if anything)?&lt;/p&gt;]]></description>
